I am looking at Oklahoma Wesleyan's RN to BSN online program. Is anyone in that program and can you give me any info on the type of classes? Was also looking at American Sentinel and I know it is not regionally accredited but doubtful I will ever go for a MSN. Any tips on that school too?

Hello,
So I got into Ohio University's online FNP program and I also got into Wilkes University's online Adult NP program both for the Fall. Does anyone know if one school is better than the other? Also, how about any pro's/con's of FNP vs ANP? My goal is to work in the ED as an NP if it helps. Thanks!

Read article below first.
I always thought something was fishy the way hospitals were mandated by JACHO to make pain a priority. My Admission assessment have an entire tedious section devoted to pain. It asks whether the pt experienced pain within the last three months. It seems determined to find pain that requires treatment. Then we also...

Hello All,
I have a question regarding the transfer of credits from Straighterline. I am pretty certain my University will not accept credits straight from Straighterline (they also won't accept ACE credits). I have read that back when Fort Hays University was a partner college, they transcribed SL classes and made it look as if the course had...

Miss Tander.
The very mention of her name stirred butterflies and raised pulse and blood pressure in us.
Miss Tander.
Tough and no-nonsense scourge of us student nurses.
As the Med-Surg nursing instructor, she knew her stuff, alright.
I still recall her delivery of the same information we'd learned in A&P.
Somehow when Miss Tander...

Loving what you do is great, but knowing your career will be there tomorrow is even better. And when it comes to booming fields, the health care industry is one that's primed for growth.

I finished Excelsior LPN-RN not long ago, CPNE in Oct.11. I now want to continue on for my BSN but not sure if I should continue with them or not.
